| Here's what people are saying about Brooks to Bays Nature Tours... 6/24/06 - From the Schulte Family after a tour on Dead Creek Hi Jeremy, We had such a great trip and just loved Vermont and our canoe trip. You were great. We would love to come back and take another tour with you. If we come back to Vermont in the fall we will call you ahead of time and set up a hike. We did actually hike to the top of Philo Mountain. It was a great hike for the girls. It was challenging enough that they felt accomplished at the top, but not so hard that it was frustrating for them. It was a little muddy, but not too bad. We were going to do Snake Mountain, but Philo was on our way to Shelburne Farms and it worked out great. Next time we will want to do something a little longer. I have to tell you that Matt informed me on the way up to Vermont that he hadn't ever been in a canoe before. He is usually kind of an office guy and doesn't spend a ton of time outside other than when he goes golfing. I think that this trip was great for him and he actually found a gentle white water rafting excursion that they have in the Pocono Mountains in PA that he said that he would like to look into. He commented many times how much he enjoyed the canoe trip. It was relaxing, informative, and fun. Thanks so much for the experience. The girls both really liked it as well, especially Samantha. It was the highlight of her trip. I hope that your knees are feeling better. We also really liked the Barsen Inn. A lovely atmosphere, great food, and nice people. Peter invited Matt to golf with him if we return so that should ensure our return sometime as Matt loves to golf new courses. Thanks again for driving all the way up to meet with us. Good luck with your business and your move. Take care. Jennifer Schulte ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 7/2/06 - Innkeeper, Daphne Jensen, at the Barsen House Inn's comment to her client ...I just took a kayaking trip with him through Dead Creek and I learned so much about nature, the history of Vermont and of course birds, just as we stopped to take a break a male mature bald eagle flew over. Jeremy is wealth of information and I'm sure you'll enjoy "breakfast with the birds". Sincerely, Daphne ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 7/13/06 - From Christopher, who brought two friends from Rhode Island to paddle in Vermont Jeremy, Thanks so much for the fantastic tour. It was definitely one of the highlights of our week in Vermont. We did go to that restaurant you suggested with the ferris wheel of food--it was good, but we all had to be rolled out of there! Sara, Robert, and I wish you all the best in your business and we'll be in contact in the future. Hope you and your wife had a nice anniversary. Christopher ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 8/17/06 - From Aggie, whose party had a blast paddling the Champlain Islands on a classicly perfect Lake Champlain summer day. I had a blast too. Thanks to all! Hi Jeremy, On behalf of all the "crew", I want to thank you for the most enjoyable day of our vacation! You clearly made every effort to ensure our trip would be a success from beginning to end. From scouting out the route in advance to providing coffee and bagels and chocolate milk for Sol, those great homemade cookies, the "perfect" stop for sandwiches (we went back on Friday for more!) and flexibility with time... Your knowledge of the area and the birds and nature in general made for more than just a paddle around Lake Champlain. I wish you the very best in your business and know for certain, I will call again if in the area and pass your information along to others. Aggie and Friends |
